Birthday Reflections Bring Life's Lessons

Today is my birthday!

 

With that said, I'd love to share my gratitude for the amazing community of health seekers that you are. It is a true joy to walk along this path of wellness with you. You're an inspiration each day that you dedicate to self love and vibrant vitality- plus you're uplifting those around you! #winwin

 

There's so much to learn in life. What a wild ride! One of the practices I started a while ago was journaling on my birthday... today I'm sharing this with you all! (#eeek!) A bit out of my comfort zone to share my journal with the world, but they say it's good to move outside of our comfort zones and try something new, right? ;) 

 

As I reflect this full moon morning with pup junior snuggled up next to me (cuddle buddies are the best) and the sun rising over the sea… I am reminded of the following:

 

  • Health is the greatest wealth. 

  • Self love is the path to true love. 

  • Life is better when shared with community.

  • Living below my means leads to less stress. 

  • There’s always time for a tender conversation. 

  • It is necessary and fruitful to “keep it good and to keep it real.” (1)

  • Love and the supernatural operate on the same frequency. 

  • You can become nothing but more beautiful.

  • I am the only person who will always love myself, never leave myself, and always take care of myself. (2)

  • Most marriages don’t last, but the ones that do practice communication, respect, and commitment.

  • Practicing gratitude is the quickest way to happiness, 

    • And having a pet is a close second. 

  • Jumping in the ocean for a morning swim is my favorite way to start the day.

  • It not what you say, but how you say it that matters. (3)

  • Money does not equate to success,

    • but leaving the world better than you found it (while enjoying the process) does. 

  • I never regret working out.

  • People won’t remember what you said, but they will remember how you made them feel. (4)

  • 9 times out of 10, “Yes!” is the right answer. 

  • “Unplug” days are absolutely critical to survive. (5)

  • Taking the time to reflect on the past and dream for the future, is time well spent.

  • It truly doesn’t matter what other people think of me.

  • The external reflects the internal: honor my possessions, environment, and home.(6)

  • If I am going through Hell, I need to keep going. (7) 

  • Sometimes, bad things happen to good people. 

  • Small random acts of kindness make the whole world a better place. (8)

  • Breathe, stretch, drink water, eat nourishing food, give thanks, learn something new, do something good, & love something fully = a life well lived.  

  • Baby steps lead to massive changes overtime, for better or worse. Step wisely. (9)

  • Pause often and ask for guidance.

  • Remember the fleeting nature of it all… embrace today.
